Apr 24 (Wed) – Update
Today is garbage pickup day.
It’s nice to wake up and not have to hurry and get the bins out because you did that the night before..
On Monday Kyle and I worked on sealing his detached garage. I got there just before lunch. We worked on and finished one of three walls, the worst one. His three doggos mostly laid in the yard while we worked, occasional barks. We stopped at around 3 pm. I got home and took a short snooze which put the kibosh on getting much more done.

On Tuesday it was coffee as usual except we broke up around 10:30 as we all had stuff to do. I got home in time to see Kim and Kyle off for his ketamine shot. I stayed put and kept an eye on four dogs. They’re good girls and don’t really need watching but it’s a valid reason.

They returned around an hour and a half later, Kyle still feeling after-effects. A few degrees of diplopia (maybe a finger’s width at arm’s length) and a few other odd sensations. He rested and ate a bit until those wore off and then left. His next dose is on Friday. Sami will probably help with that one.

While Kyle was resting in the bark-o-lounger Penny called and asked if she could bring Dante over as he was bouncing off the walls across the street at her house. Kyle okayed it and over they came. Penny and Kim talked crafting while Dante and Titania ripped around the yard and the house for a half hour straight. So. Much. Energy.

Last night was another rough night for Lydia which made it a bit rough for us. Don’t know if she’s changing as she gets older, not liking other dogs distubin’ her chill. She’d rather zen with humans and her half sister and Willow. So I think her innards get worked up and she doesn’t sleep well.

Today will be nice enough weather-wise. It’ll peak at 60 F with a light breeze and partly cloudy giving way to clear skies. I must mow the back yard (I think Kyle will be doing his yard(s)) and then it’ll probably be bags of grass to composting. If we get to the garage we get to the garage. If we don’t we don’t. Cheers.
